Team Captain Kick Off Event 1st Annual Walk for Humanity

CarePortal is teaming up with Cairn Health & Children 1st to do the first annual Walk for Humanity! We are very excited for this event which will take place on May 17th. All proceeds raised will go to benefit the great work being done by each of our organizations. For CarePortal specifically, all money will go into a Community Champion fund to direct toward requests through our platform!
We are currently looking for Team Captains who want to help form teams to raise money and awareness of the needs in our community. So here’s what that means:
We’re challenging each of our partners (Agencies, Churches, and Champions) to select a Team Captain and compete (in a healthy way) against each other to see who can create the biggest team and who can raise the most money. We’d love your support in doing so, to ensure that the children and families represented through our platform are taken care of!
Location: Woodland United Methodist Church, 1100 W. 15th North
Doors: Eastside, double wooden doors.
Below are the three partners and their missions:
- Cairn Health: Assists uninsured and underinsured individuals with prescriptions and glasses.
- Children First CEO Kansas Inc.: Supports students to feel safe and empowered, stay in school, and achieve in life, while working with parents to increase family stability.
- Care Portal: Enables meaningful action by connecting the largest network of caring people to meet the needs of kids and families in crisis.
