The challenges facing vulnerable children and families in our community can feel overwhelming. But we believe that, together, we can rewrite the story for Sedgwick County families. And it doesn’t take a huge commitment to make a difference. Every effort matters.
Prevention is key to reducing the number of Sedgwick County children who enter care. Together with the community, let’s prioritize prevention by surrounding at-risk families with care, compassion, and resources.

Meet a physical need to support families.
The needs can range from beds, cribs, car seats, clothes, school supplies, mentorship, and transportation.
Meet a relational need or open your home to a child.
Become a host family, family friend, or family coach.
Become a Court Appointed Special Advocate “CASA” and be an independent voice in court for an abused and/or neglected child.

Become a licensed foster care parent.
Adopt a child.
Become an adoptive parent and provide a loving home for a child who needs one.
